ELARA'S POV The police station was cold and too bright for my state of mind. We had been there for two hours giving statements in separate rooms and I was running out of patience and energy in equal measure. My shoulder had been re-bandaged by a paramedic outside the warehouse but it pulled every time I reached for the water cup sitting on the table. So, I stopped reaching.
