Ari POV: My throat burned, it felt like I had swallowed boiling water. I rolled over trying to get comfortable but my body protested my every movement. A loud beeping sounded right in my ear and I reached for my alarm clock to turn it off. My hand felt around trying to find the snooze button but it fell through the air.
