Run

Arianna POV: The next morning came way too soon as my alarm screamed at me from the side table. I contemplated skipping my morning run but I knew if I did my whole day would be thrown off. Plus once I was out there I really did enjoy running. It helped to clear my mind... not that I had much on my mind besides school and work. I had only moved here at the beginning of the semester and had yet to make any friends besides Janice at the diner. Not much of a social calendar when your only friend is a 60 yr old grandma with a hip replacement. A quick pre-workout shake and a few stretches later I was out my door. The sun wasn't even up yet, the chrisp morning air felt amazing after the past few days of 100+ degree temperatures. Rounding a corner a chill ran down my spine. I felt eyes on me but I didn't see anyone else. Normally there weren't too many people out this early anyways but today the streets seemed almost deserted. I shook off the feeling and jammed my earbuds back in but the feeling didn't dissipate.... In fact it got stronger. My heartbeat picked up a bit as my eyes scanned my surroundings. Nothing. Chuckling to myself I thought "no more horror movies for you Ari". The current song ended and in the moment before the next started I heard it... Footsteps. I hit the pause button on my iPod but kept running. All I could hear was my own shoes hitting the asphalt. Then I heard it again and this time closer. I spun around and almost smashed into a lady and her dog. "Oh my goodness I'm so sorry!!" My face beat red with embarrassment. "Watch where you're going next time!" the lady spat at me. "Great... what a wonderful start to my day." I thought as I bent down to tighten my laces. HIS POV: Her chestnut ponytail swayed with every step. Her long lean legs taunted me in those black leggings which accentuated her a**. That perfect a**. It's what caught my attention that first time in the diner. I watched as she rounded the corner at the end of the street. Pulling my van around the block I waited for her. She seemed tense. Her olive skin was a bit paler and she was breathing heavier than she normally did at this point in her run. A stupid yappy dog barked as it passed me breaking me out of my thought. She bent to fix her shoes and that a**... it called to me. Her pink sports bra holding those perfect perky pillows... my hand slipped into my pants as I watched her. Mmm the things I WILL do to that body... I just had to be patient. Ari POV: After my run I took a quick shower and got dressed for class. I pulled on a pair of jean shorts with a black tank and black sneakers. The temperature was already climbing and it wasn't even 7am. I tossed my chem notebook and my lab manual in my bag along with a power bar and my apron for work. The microwave beeped and I wrapped up my breakfast sandwich in a paper towel. I would make a few breakfast sandwiches at work and freeze them for the week. It was one of the perks of working at the diner. That and the free dinner on my break though I learned quickly I had to cook it myself or risk it becoming a brick of charcoal. Why anyone ate at our diner was beyond me. The drive to school was about 20 minutes but thankfully I only had to go for labs. The rest of the classes were online besides one that was before my lab. The drive wasn't that bad but the school parking lot was a joke. We had to pay $200 a semester for a parking pass and the lot was always full. I didn't have the money for a parking pass anyways so I would just find a spot on the street and walk the few blocks to class. Normally I had to go a few streets over to find anything but today I got lucky and found a spot only 1 street over behind a big white van. I joined the small crowd already waiting at the Crossing signal and went over my notes for class in case there was a pop quiz which was becoming a weekly guarantee. I had class then lab then it was straight to the diner for a double. I loved staying busy but it was starting to take a toll on me. HIS POV: As I saw her car rounding the corner I pulled my van up just enough for her to pull in behind me. It was the perfect trial run for my plan.I knew she could not resist a closer parking spot so I made sure to block off enough space for her jeep. I had placed a tracker in her car while she was at work so I knew exactly where she was at all times. My silly little minx didn't realize that by leaving her windows cracked just a little bit gave me the perfect opportunity to get into her car without her even noticing. I rolled down my window as she parked behind my van just so her scent would waft in as she walked by. I have been following her for weeks learning her every move, every routine, memorizing every inch of her body. I even snuck into her purse during a particularly busy shift to make a copy of her apartment keys. She walked past my van and joined the masses of students clammering around the crosswalk. There were other girls wearing shorter skirts or lower cut tops but my eyes were trained on her. She was special... there was something about her that drove my senses wild. Today would be the day... no more waiting. While she was in class I drove back to her apartment. I laid down on her bed and breathed in her scent. Imagining her in my arms, her body under mine writhing in pleasure, her voice screaming for more, my hands around her throat squeezing tighter and tighter till she was on the brink. I couldn't wait any longer. I needed her to be MINE. I grabbed the duffle bag I brought with me and threw in some of her clothes and toiletries. Making sure to pick out my favorite outfits of hers. Her black leggings. Her pink sports bra. A little black dress with a slit up the leg and a sweetheart neckline. I had never seen her in this dress but it seemed like the perfect outfit for our first night together. Now all I needed was her.
