I watched from the treeline as those filthy mutts ransacked the cabin. I hadn't gotten back as quickly as I would have hoped since I had to trek halfway around the eastern border to throw those beasts off my scent.
When I arrived they were already inside and rifling through my van. One came out carrying my bag and the bag I packed for my dove. None of that s**t mattered anyhow- except there were a few items I would miss seeing on Ari's tight little body and a few toys I would have to find replacements for. Seeing one pull out the syringe Sarcarian I knew I f****d up. That herb hasnt been used in over a century since it's so hard to grow and takes vast quantities to make a single drop.
