So, that’s the way it played out: big with the danger and lots of fireworks. I should have known that the Overseers weren’t going to leave us alone. They spent centuries manipulating humans toward their ends. That’s not the kind of thing you give up cold turkey. Maybe there’s a program or something.
And those creeptastic creatures coming out of the wormhole? Now, there’s a new level of scary. Our adventures are definitely upping the zany factor; no denying that. But in a way, it’s kind of reassuring. Sure, our world got turned upside down, but we came through it. Anna and me? We can handle anything if we stick together.
