As years passed, about six of Mr. and Miss Opio's children had completed school.
The other two, Peter and Tracy were still in lower primary. Tracy was a competitive girl that she used to perform well in class. She used to get a lot of gifts from school because of her good performance. She was a stubborn girl. She usually wanted to play with Peter who was a quiet boy. This made Tracy lose company.
Peter always played alone with his toy cars. He was not all that social so, he never played with Tracy at all.
One day, Mr. Opio was lying under shade while watching Peter playing with his toy cars. He remembered of the day when Peter was born. It was a Thursday when he had gone camping. On his return, he was overwhelmed to see a handsome bouncing baby lying on the bed. His mother Miss Martha narrated to him of how the joyful day was in his absence. Peter was the youngest child in the whole family
At the age of three, his mother Miss Opio decided to secure a vacancy for him in the nearby nursery school. Peter was so excited to go to school for he loved writing the alphabetical letters. He was assured of learning a lot from school. He asked his dad if it was true that he was going to school. He arranged his school shoes and uniform well prepared to go to school for his first time.
On his first day at school, he was the first learner to get into class.
