Savannah’s POV I walked back and forth in the room while muttering incoherently. I stopped and looked down at my hand to check if it was glowing, but it remained the good old odd birthmark it always was; no glowing whatsoever. Still, I didn’t allow myself to get fooled by the innocent-looking thing anymore. Looks were deceptive, and this was the prime example for it.  I will never forget the way it lit up, freaking the hell out of me. It has been a while since I got the scare of my lifetime from my own hand but I still didn’t get over it if ever. I mean, my hand literally glowed. I am entitled to a freak out session, right? I remembered the moment I saw my hand glowing. I started to scream but then clamped my mouth shut before I could scream down the palace and bring the guards running.
