Lory's POV:
"Ouchy! Bakla dahan dahan lang pwede? Mashakeeet!"
"Dami mong arte! Gorang gora ka kapag makipaglaplapan sa mga lalaki pero suntok lang ng daddy mo uma-aray ka na agad."
Inis 'kong baling kay Theon habang niyeyelo 'ko iyong mukha niya na may malaking pasa.
His dad punch his pretty face and he didn't given any chance to explain himself. Kung ako rin iyon ay hindi 'ko na hihintayin pa mag paliwanag si Theon 'cause the pictures tells everything. He kissed that man passionately and I was hurt right now-- my heart aches so bad but I don't have any choice but to stay with him because I love him and he needs me right now.
Ganun naman lagi ang set up, I'll stay with him even he didn't know how much painful I've been through because of his silliness.
"Oh, he hit my precious face dahil maapektuhan ang candidacy niya at sigurado na mga kalaban niya lang sa pulitika ang nag labas noon. So I don't care!"
"Then you're not worried about that picture?"
Well, the moment I saw the picture, hindi na nawala sa isip 'ko kung sino iyong kahalikan ni Theon. He never mentioned anyone na karelasyon niya ngayon o kalandian man lang kaya na gulat din ako at the same time nadudurog ang puso 'ko.
"I don't, mabuti na nga na malaman ng sambayanang pilipinas ang tungkol sa pagkatao 'ko. Hindi na ako mahihirapan mag panggap. I just want to be who I am."
I unconsciously chewed my lower lip and simply nod at him. If that what he wants, susuportahan 'ko siya but I'm worried more than he knew. Paano na iyong relasyon nila ng daddy niya? Mawawalan na ng chance na magkaayos sila if he confessed the truth and how about me? Wala na ba talagang pag asa na maging lalaki siya para sa akin? Ayaw niya ba talaga sa akin? Na hanggang magkaibigan lang talaga kami?
"Here,"
I snapped back when someone offered me a glass of water and smiled at him as he sweetly smiled at me.
"Thanks."
"So let me guess.. Hihingi ka ng tulong sa akin para pagtakpan iyong issue na kumakalat tungkol kay Theon? Tama ba ako?"
Parang bata 'ko itong tinignan at pinagdikit iyong mga palad 'ko.
"Please.. make sure that issue will fade as soon as possible. Nag aalala ako na baka hindi lang relationship niya sa daddy niya ang masira, the team already talk about that issue, sabi nila makaka-apekto sa filming kung may issue so they want Theon out of this project. Pretty please?"
Hindi na ako nag paligoy ligoy pa kay Styx ng puntahan 'ko ito sa opisina niya. I know how busy he was, he's the current Governor of our town and I know he can help me and he will 'cause he's my best friend.
"Why would I do that?"
"Because I'm your best friend."
"You are my best friend and not him so I won't do stupid things for his own sake, besides he didn't care about that issue so why you care that much?"
Nilambarasan 'ko iyong braso ni Styx at matamis na ngumiti sa kaniya.
"Because I love him."
"But he didn't love you."
"Ouch naman! Porket Gov ka na, makapambara sa akin wagas ah."
Inis 'kong hinampas ang braso ni Styx na kinatawa niya. He was serious awhile ago then now he was laughing. Ang bilis niyang mag palit ng mood but yeah, I love the way he laughs. Lumalabas iyong dimple niya sa magkabila niyang pisngi.
Styx is handsome as hell, feeling 'ko nga kaya lang siya nanalong gobernador ay dahil dinaan niya lang sa pagiging gwapo. Dami pa namang botanteng babae but he's a nice guy. A sweet and loving person.
"Ginigising lang kita sa katotohanan, Lory. Ilang taon ka na bang nakabuntot kay Theon? Five? Six or eight years? High school pa lang tayo sinusundan mo na siya at hanggang ngayong may kaniya kaniya na tayong trabaho you still chasing that gay."
Padabog akong bumalik sa kinakaupuan 'ko kanina at humahaba ang nguso 'kong tinignan si Styx.
"He's not gay."
"Go on, fool yourself all over and over again. But he will never be a man like you always wish. Ilang beses mo na bang nakita kung paano siya nag bihis babae? Kung paano siya makipag date sa mga lalaki? and now that pictures tell who reall he was and yet, you still believe na magihing lalaki siya para sa'yo? Stupid!"
And even he was the sweetest and nicest best friend in this world, I need to admit that he hate Theon that much for I don't know reasons, he just hate him like he has an allergy with gays.
"So you're not going to help me?"
"No!"
Diretsong sagot nito na kinatulo ng luha 'ko and I showed him my scratches on my arms.
"The media keep on harassing me, they ask my statement about that issue. Do you want to see me with these scratches?"
Then I keep on crying.
"Oh geez! Please don't cry. I'll do it. I'll settle things if that's the best thing for you."
Napangiti ako ng makitang natataranta itong kumapit sa akin at masinsin pang sinusuri iyong sugat sa braso 'ko.
Yeah, the media harass me before I drop here. Ako kasi laging kasama ni Theon so they want to hear the truth but of course I refused to face them kaya nag kasugat ako what is not true right now is my tears.
Effective pa rin pala ang pag aaral 'ko ng stage play noong college dahil napapaniwala 'ko si Styx.
"You should take care of yourself more than that gay. Geez! I'll wreck their life if you're hurt more than this."
Inihip ihipan pa ni Styx iyong sugat 'ko kaya hindi 'ko na napigilan ang matawa. Kunot noo naman niya akong tinignan and when he realised that I'm not really hurt ay inis nitong pinitik ang tainga 'ko.
"Ouch ah, hahaha!"
"You brat! Kaya ka walang boyfriend dahil napaka spoiled mo."
Tumayo na ito at inis na bumalik sa upuan niya.
"Wala akong boyfriend dahil hindi pa ako sinasagot ni Theon. At spoiled lang naman ako.dahil.sa inyo ni Kuya."
"Tss!"
Napangiti na lang ako ng wala ng ipanbabara sa akin si Styx, wala naman talaga siyang laban sa akin but he never get mad on me.
Tumayo ako at pumunta sa likuran niya. I wrapped my arms around his neck to hug him from his back and nuzzled his cheek with my nose.
"You'll do it for me even I'm the worst brat you've ever met, right?"
"May choice ba 'ko?"
"Of course you don't."
Nakita 'ko naman siyang ngumiti and he gently squeeze my cheeks.
"I know, I never won over you because I love you."
"And I love you too, Styx."
We love each other as a brotherly love and I'm lucky for having him-- for having him on my side and for making me laugh on my bad times.
