Phoenix stepped towards me and held my hands in his. He smelled like River, and I looked at him curiously. Phoenix just blushed and cleared his throat. River smirked when I looked at him, very pleased with something.
"Sage, I loved what we did earlier and am very open to doing that again, along with other things, when you are ready. Your parents will be home soon if they aren't already. If the opportunity arises when staying with River, we can revisit this. When I can finally be with you and River, I want to take my time and savor the moment," Phoenix said.
"Okay, but we should leave my bedroom before I try to convince you both otherwise," I mumbled.
"It won't take much convincing for either of us, trust me," River smiled.
"What he said," Phoenix grinned.
