The alarm set off. Andy groaned and stretched her tired muscles on the couch. She palmed her head, then her stomach roiled and gurgled, awaking her whole body. Standing up, Andy tumbled from the sofa, knocking down the pillows on the floor.
She only had seconds to get to the bathroom. Reaching the toilet bowl, she retched up anything that might have been lingering in her stomach. She heaved and heaved, throwing the food her body consumed all day.
Tying her hair up, she continued gagging until only the sour bile was left coming out from her mouth. It stopped, but she stayed for more minutes to make sure it was all done.
When finished, she flushed the toilet, but she didn’t get up right away. Slumping her body on the floor, Andy closed her eyes to regain her energy back
