"Hi, everyone. I am Castile Johnson, your new colleague. Hope we will get along well. I am really excited to know you all. No.. No...!! It sounds a little weird. I need to relax a little before."
"It doesn't sound weird. You're just too nervous. Calm down, okay!" Lily says from behind me in her school uniform.
"I am not nervous just a little excited." I say obviously lying by turning around and squatting to reach up to her height.
"Lair. But don't worry, in the worst case you will only end up saying something weird and embarrassing on the first day like you did on the last job." She chuckles and run as fast as her little legs can.
"Don't worry. I will send her to school. And best of luck on your first day. Don't end up saying something weird like you did on your last job." Olivia gives me a worried smile and runs behind Lily. And it is not my fault that i by mistakenly said w***e instead of you all. I was nervous, ok! She is my neighbor and best friend since three years. We got along the day we met.
"Wait! You guys are supposed encourage me rather than discouraging me!!" I shout at the last part so they can hear.
"Bye-bye moma. Love you and best of luck." Lily shouts before stepping out of our small two bedroom apartment. I sigh and again start practicing. But now I am more assured. No matter what happens, it doesn't matter as long as i have my little angel, and my best friend. I have my parents also but I don't get along well with them.
After 1 and half hour, in front of C&C Enterprises Inc.
Thank god i am in time. I am damn sure my first day is gonna go good. Yes, you can do this Cas. I wait for the elevator to come. As soon as i get in, I press my floor no. and try to keep my self calm. I notice there is another guy in a dark blue suit, with me in the elevator but i don't care much about anything right now until I feel someones stare burning my cheeks. I turned my head little to my right to find a freak, ok my mistake, a handsome freak staring at me intensely and it will be understatement if i will say that i was feeling awkward.
"Is there something wrong with my face?" I ask a little unsure.
"No." He says still staring at me.
"Ah then do you mind stop staring. It's really embarrassing." I say rubbing the back of my neck.
He doesn't respond rather looks more shocked. Was i just now to straightforward? Forget it, Ignore ignore ignore, I keep repeating in my head. My face must be looking redder than a tomato. I just wanted to shout at him to stop staring but what if he turns out to be my boss. Hahaha, I know i am over thinking. I think i should stop watching too much romance dramas. Thankfully, the elevator door opens and without thinking I jump out of the elevator to find a bathroom. I need to relax myself first of all right now.
After 15 minutes in front of the office of Fred Lewis
Knock.. Knock...
"May I come in Mr. Lewis?"
"Come in. And you are..?" He asks not even sparing a glance to me. But wait why does he looks like the elevator freak.
"I asked you something." He says sternly looking at me equally shocked as I am.
"Elevator fr-" I close my mouth as soon as i realize what i was about to say, otherwise I would have been the fired on my first day of work. I have had bad lucks but this one would have been the most epic one.
"What where you about to say?" He asks furrowing his eyebrows.
"Ah no-nothing. I am your new assistant, Castiel Johnson." I say with a small smile.
"Hmm. You can get out if you are done then." He says again getting lost in the file in his hand.
"O-okay." How rude! I mumble before getting out of the office. Thank god he didn't heard me. I think I should introduce myself to other colleagues, we will be working together after all.
"Hi, everyone. I am Castile Johnson, your new colleague. Hope we will get along well. I am looking forward to working together and knowing you all." Thankfully I didn't say anything wrong but I just hope that they are not as rude as their boss is. Everyone spare me a glance and get back to their work looking bored, as if they have seen this already many times. What the hell is going on here? Why am I even surprised? How could I forget that Olivia told that he was player. Of course they have seen it many times.
"Thank you so much for your warm welcome, I really appreciate it." I said with fake amusement and walked away. I could feel some people shocked looks while some where still too busy spare a glance.
Where have I landed myself into. I really hope that the ground will swallow me right now. First day of work and this time I didn't even said or did something wrong still here I am wishing to have not even existed.
I pinch myself to check if I am dreaming, "ouch" No! I still can't believe that really The Elevator Freak Is My Boss!!
