It was a really uncomfortable position for me. I used to cuddle Jack and Noah all the time but I needed to lie down too. I very very carefully lifted the upper half of his body and shifted on the couch so I was lying in the same direction as him. I fit his lean body between my legs and he adjusted his head on my chest turning his body sideways. He hugged my waist so tight I could feel it leave a bruise.
"Hey Young-Jae, are you okay?" I whispered in his ear. He didn't reply at all. I cradled him in my arms pulling close. He shivered all of a sudden and squirmed scaring the life out of me for a second. I heard a few mumbles come out of his mouth but I couldn't seem to understand it. I sighed and closed my eyes keeping my head on top of his and drifted off into sleep.
