Nyx had passed a row of windows. She got curious because the curtains were closed. She often looked out on these windows because they faced the beach.
She pushed open the curtains. She was excited to see the beach at night!
"Whoa! Devils!" she exclaimed by what she saw. Nyx stepped back. She stared at the creatures crawling and hovering over what seemed glass!
She looked up and down, and even left to right. The devils could not break into the barrier and enter the castle.
'Devlin!' Nyx walked to the library hurriedly. She opened to door suddenly. She forgot to knock.
The room was in darkness but she could see silhouettes. One shadow gave her goosebumps. It had horns!
