When Jahi saw the crumbing mansion on the cliff, she flew over it speedily. She saw a plain woman, wearing a starched black uniform and white apron, in the middle of the ruins.
"Where is Agnes Rangda?" she asked angrily.
"She took flight! I don't know where!" The woman picked up the box containing the scanner. "She left this! Do you need this?"
"Yes! Hold onto the box!" Impulsively, Jahi clutched the woman on her collar. She flew higher.
"Madame! Madame, I'm afraid of heights!"
"Close your eyes!" Jahi ordered fiercely. 'The woman is heavy!' she complained to herself grittily.
Below, the mansion continued disintegrating. Its posts and beams turned into dust until there was no evidence of the structure!
