That afternoon, Nyx tried to communicate with King Zephyr and Queen Willow.
"No response!" Nyx remarked in frustration.
"Again?" Shimermoon asked while lying on her pillow. They were in the pink room. Lua and the fairy soldiers were roaming the woods. "Alto mentioned that Lua and the soldiers had heard strange sounds deep in the forest..."
"Strange sounds?" repeated Nyx. "What kind of sounds?" She pressed the center of the pendant again. It did not glow nor emit the voice of her father!
She was getting anxious!
"I don't know. Lua and the women did not sleep here last night! If they didn't get here tonight, I'll hunt them in the forest!"
