'Well Watson, I don't know about you, but colour me impressed' said Beta Dawson, his whole demeanor far more relaxed than earlier.
'I honestly think Alpha is going to love it.' Gamma Watson replied.
'Thank you so much both of you. I am glad you like it. I have to say designing your pack house was an absolute joy. The Alpha at Goddesses Tears would never dream of letting me do this. He's far too traditional in his tastes. I sometimes wonder if I was born into the correct pack.' I chuckled.
'Well either way I think you will have no problems with getting this, providing the price is right of course.'
'Of course Beta Dawson. All the costing breakdown was sent to you and Gamma Watson at the final slide, so will be in your inbox waiting for you when you get back to your own offices. Do you have any further questions?'
'No I think that is absolutely everything Miss Challenger. Now how about we take you to lunch and give you a tour? The hotel is good, but nothing beats the steak house down the road.'
'Sure sounds good to me.' I replied, not 100% sure if I had gotten the job or was merely through stage one of the process. Surely the mysterious Alpha would be the one to make the decision? Then again this is a different pack, and it is a lot more modern than my own. Maybe things are different around here.
'So we will finish lunch, take you on a tour, and you can present to the Alpha this afternoon. That work for you Miss Challenger?' Watson asked pulling me from my thoughts.
'Of course it is. I'm looking forward to meeting with the Alpha' I smiled, as if I has listened to everything they had been saying. I think I got away with it.
We head off to the steak restaurant, and its insanely busy for a lunch time. This place must be real good if it's that busy. Walking straight up to the door, the matre d let's us in and shows us to a secluded VIP booth, where we are settled in. The menu looks phenomenal, with all of my faves on there. Not knowing what to pick I go for the recommended rib eye with sides of mash and mac and cheese. Sticking to the soft drinks I try to pull a little info about the Alpha out of the two men.
'So what can you tell me about your Alpha, what should I expect?' I ask.
'Nice try, our Alpha likes to keep a low profile, and let's people judge themselves.' Dawson replied.
'A beautiful woman such as yourself will have no trouble in making waves. In the right way of course.'
I smirked a little, 'Don't I even get to know the name of your Alpha?'
'Nope!' they both chorus and laugh.
All of a sudden a commotion breaks out from the kitchen, and the staff come running out, 'ROUGES! EVERYONE GET OUT QUICK!'
The Beta and Gamma look at each other before shifting quickly, and I follow suit, my lovely dress torn to shreds as I follow them. If they didn't know I was Alpha blood before they would now from just looking at my wolf. We make a sprint for it into the kitchen where 7 Rogues are currently cornering 2 staff.
I snarl menacingly at them, getting their attention, watching as the Rogues all turn and face us. Stepping ahead slowly, stalking each rogue, ensuring I wasn't suppressing my Alpha aura anymore. One of the rogues lunges from my left, deftly I leap aside, grabbing his neck in my mouth and ripping his throat out in one swift movement. His body drops to the floor as he shifts back to human form, his blood pooling beneath him. The other rouges start to show a hint of fear, I growl out to them to submit, two of them instantly bow down whimpering, the remaining 4 stand their ground and growl back.
All at once the 4 of them charge at us, and I spring into action before the Beta and Gamma have even realised what's happening. I charge one off to the side, and sink my teeth into a second one, as a third collides with my side. The fourth heads towards the Gamma as the first one I knocked over tries to get back to its feet before the Beta pins it down and rips his throat out. The Gamma has his hands full with the biggest Rogue of the pack, as I am back on my feet straight back at the injured Rouge and his counterpart. The Beta flanks them as I attack from the front, before we successfully finish them off. We leap together at the final Rogue being kept busy by the Gamma, pin him and rip his throat out too. I turn around and see the other two cowering in a corner.
'SHIFT BACK' growls shadow. The Rogues comply and 2 young teenagers appear. They barely look old enough to shift let alone be Rogues. I hear a commotion outside as a collection of warriors come through the door and stop at the sight of the bloodbath in front of them.
Beta Dawson has shifted back, and commands his team to take the 2 teens to a cell, and asks them to bring something for me to put on so I can shift back. He turns to look at me once the warriors have left. 'So I think you have some explaining to do Miss Challenger. You are no ordinary Omega are you?'
I shake my head in wolf form, waiting patiently for someone to bring me clothes. It at least gave me time to formulate a way that made it sound like I hadn't intentionally deceived them.
