Journey

Sioux POV I'd never felt so nervous driving before. Cruising up the motorway in the R8 pushing the speed in-between cameras was normal, and having little rolling drag races with other sports cars, or seeing the grins on human kids faces when they see the car. Even having white van men whistle and cat call in traffic at me. None of that would ever make me nervous. What was making me so was the absolutely stunning and beautiful woman sat next to me. Her scent was driving me wild being this enclosed, but opening the window just blew it around more. Her just being here, on the way to my pack, made me nervous. A mate was supposed to be calming, but I think because I was nervous about my father's reaction, her being here just heightened it. She was relaxed though. She kept looking at me and smiling, thinking I wasn't noticing but I was noticing everything about her. From when she tucked her hair behind her ear, or fidgeted in the seat. I even noticed when she was daydreaming about something that got her aroused. I saw her biting her lip and glancing at me. I shook my head trying to concentrate, we were near the junction to come off and hit the fun roads of the countryside my territory was located in. We had chatted on the way up, but she had to finalise some pack stuff on the phone too, so we hadn't really said much. I had told her my father would react badly, since he only recently discovered I was gay. I had never really hidden it, but neither had I expressly told him about it either. She had been understanding knowing my packs reputation and having met him at an Alpha Moot once before she was Alpha. It was one you were supposed to take your family too, but my father had gone alone. He was never keen on me leaving the territory as it would give me ideas above my station. He was not only homopbobic, but a misogynist as well. It was before my mum died and she stayed home too. In fact it was just before she got really sick, and just after I had turned 18. If I had gone I could have met Kaia sooner, and my mum could probably have calmed my dad and made him understand this was the choice of the moon goddess herself. As it was that's why I conducted most of my business via online video calls, and virtual walkthroughs of designs Ryan and I created. If my father ever confirmed me as the next Alpha, Ryan was going to be my Beta. He was the current Beta's eldest son, and my best friend. As we were coming up to the exit I saw a service station, and decided I needed a stretch and some coffee before we took on the last hour of our journey. Plus it would give me time to warn Ryan to be ready should the worst happen. I pulled in and parked up the car, turning to grin at Kaia. She flashed me a killer smile back, 'Coffee stop?' she asked. 'Always. This little coffee stop is ran by some ex pack Rogues. A lovely Non violent couple who left because of prejudice from my dad. I always come here and anything I buy gets expensed back to the pack. I don't accept his behaviour based on someone's sexuality, so little things like this are victories for me.' I chuckle. 'Plus Jim will love to meet you!' I said excitedly. She leans over and grabs my face, kissing me on the lips, lingering there until my head was filled with her sent and I was a little dizzy and disoriented. She giggled as she pulled away. s**t I felt like I was being a complete dork. The confident lady killer I usually was, was nowhere to be found right now. I slipped out of my vans and into my heels, and got out of the car. Kaia hopped out too, and I walked round to take her hand as we went into the coffee shop. I could see the stares as men were ogling the car and both of us. As we approached the counter, Jim turned and saw me, squealing in delight. 'Hon come quick! we have a visitor! And she isn't alone' he calls into the back. 'Sioux it's so good to see you!' calls Terry as he wanders out. 'And who would this beautiful young lady be?' He asks walking over to embrace me in a hug. Without letting go of Kaia's hand, I one arm hug him and Jim back as they greet me, and tug Kaia forward to show her off. 'This gentlemen, is my wonderful and beautiful mate Kaia. She is Alpha of the Midnight Sun pack.' I beam proudly. Their mouths both drop open as they shake kaia's hand, for once both lost for words. 'Another Alpha?' Terry asks, finding his voice. 'Yes Terry. And a woman too. Like me. This is good news for people like us. There is a place for people like us. And when my dad gives me the pack, I will make Goddesses Tears just like it.' Terry and Jim look at each other, clearly mindlinking. 'Um guys, whilst you mindlink would you mind making us a couple of Caramel Lattes?' I ask. They nod and get to brewing, clearly discussing something important whilst Kaia and I wait, making small talk. Well it was mostly her talking and me watching her lips move, thinking about how good they would feel on certain parts of my body. 'Alpha could we apply to your pack? We aren't in one, we never were violent. We want to adopt and as Rogues we can't do that. We can bring the shop anywhere and if that's not right we can do any work you want us to. Please consider us.' Jim pleads. Kaia sipped her coffee, closing her eyes at the deliciousness before responding. 'Here, call this number, they will send you an app pack. You fill it in. On the reference section list Sioux, and we will do the rest OK?' she smiles sweetly at the two men. They were over joyed sputtering thanks to Kaia as we said goodbye. We head over to the car, coffee in hand. I go to open her door, and she pulls me to her once more, kissing me deeply and passionately. 'Whatever happens next, you always have a place by my side.' she says softly to me. I rest my forehead against hers, breathing in her scent. 'I hope you're ready for the s**t storm about to hit.' I said back. She kissed me again. 'Whatever it is I'll be right next to you. Violent Rogues couldn't keep me away.'
