Meeting my New pack

After a hot shower spent together, unable to stop touching one another, we eventually were ready. Kaia suggested we go smart casual, kind of like we were going out, but not too formal. Something I would feel comfortable and confident in. Naturally for me that meant my favourite brand of clothes, an Aussie brand that hand made everything and cost a small fortune to buy, but they have the cutest bodycon form-fitting dresses. I picked one out to match the colours Kaia was wearing, and my heeled doc Martins, curled my bright red hair and did my makeup. I always loved to get ready to do something, I wasn't afraid to get stuck in without a drop of makeup, but this was an important night, so I had to look my best. I saw Kaia in the mirror, her eyes sparkling with mischief and lust, despite the fact we had spent a good hour in the shower until the water was freezing.

'Don't start something you don't have time to finish Miss Alpha.' I said seductively as I sashayed over to her, wrapping my hands around her wait. She chuckled, kissing my neck and sending shivers down my spine as she grazed the spot I hope she would mark soon.

'Well I like to leave a woman wanting more Miss future Luna. And I love to smell your arousal too' she winked and pulled us both out the door. We walked hand in hand through the packhouse, and out into the gardens. I hadn't seen the area the packhouse was in, with all the chaos of the last couple of days, I could barely remember anything I had seen. The garden of the packhouse was at least an acre, with a big pool, area for the pups to play, a big built up patio with several bbq's laid fit to burst with meat and loads of tables and chairs set out In the pack colours of purple and white. As we walked in, pack members were greeting Kaia enthusiastically, and Watson and Dawson were trailing along behind us, pointing out different prominent pack members as Kaia played the host. I caught sight of Ryan and Amy, both stood to the side near the pool. I tapped Kaia on the shoulder and excused myself to see them both properly.

'Here she is! Glad to see you two could tear yourselves away from your bonding time!' laughed Ryan heartily.

'Don't be jealous cause you don't have a mate.' Amy replied. At not quite 18, she hadn't met her mate yet, but she only had 1 month to go until that became a possibility.

'Shut up squirt. It took Sioux years, and I still haven't met mine yet, so don't be thinking you're going to get lucky that easily. If you do, then I'll carry you down the aisle like a queen when you get married.' He laughed back. I loved seeing their brother sister bond. It's something I never got to enjoy.

'So what have you both been up to today? Have you been exploring?' I asked, breaking up the squabble before it got too serious.

'Well only the packhouse. We've been meeting the staff and the former Alpha and Luna. We helped prep for this evening too, you know for our pack inductions. Went through the standard interview stuff with the Beta to check we were lunatics. Nothing exciting. I figured we will go together to explore, since you know where to avoid now.' Ryan laughed at his own joke about me getting arrested in vampire Town.

'That was a complete misunderstanding on our part Luna, I do hope you accept our apologies. Usually future Luna's would not be wandering round alone in vampire territory without prior notice. Since we didn't recognise you we had to play it safe.' Simpers the vampire who had silently appeared behind us. 'Yannis is the name, Midnight Sun coven representative' holding his hand out to take mine. He's a handsome vampire, full of the charms of a man who had seen centuries of life, his pale skin like porcelain immune to the last rays of sunlight. He took my hand and kissed my knuckles with a low bow. 'It is truly a pleasure to have you here. And your companions too.' bowing to both Ryan and Amy.

I smiled, 'Easy mistake to make.'

'There's my Queen! It's time to introduce the 3 of you. If you could excuse us Yannis.' Kaia leads us away from the ancient vampire, but I feel his eyes lingering on Amy. She doesn't notice and neither did Ryan. He's protective of his sister. What he doesn't know is Amy knows how to take care of herself and often trained with me, so she could almost kick his ass if it came to it I'm sure.

Kaia leads us to the head table, and a hush comes over the pack as they all sit eagerly waiting to hear from their Alpha, I noticed one or two people whispering, my ears picking up snippets of those closest to us, wondering who we were.

'Good evening everyone! Thank you pack for attending at such short notice. Thank you coven and group representatives for also attending. Today is a very special day, where I want to introduce 3 new members to the pack and induct them as per our usual custom. A blood oath and pack run. One member is not quite 18, so cannot do the run, however she will partake once her birthday has arrived. Firstly I want to introduce Amy Graham, daughter of Beta Graham of Goddessess tears.' As the ritual progressed I could see one or two people whispering, unable to hear what was being said j tried to ignore it as Amy went through the stages of being accepted into the pack. I watched as Kaia completed the ritual for Amy, before long she was asking Ryan to step forward. At the sight of Ryan there was definitely more of a whispering amongst the unmarked single female wolves, but then again when he looked like he had walked off the cover of men's health what can you expect. Once Ryan completed the ritual, Kaia called me forwards.

'My final induction to the pack today is daughter of Alpha Francis Delacroix of Goddesses Tears pack, Sioux Delacroix, who, I'm proud to announce, is my mate and your future Luna.'

the crowd erupted into cheers, it seems there is genuine love for their Alpha here. I could even see the other races represented celebrating the good news.

Kaia began the ritual, and we went through step by step. It wasn't my official luna ceremony, but there was still sections I had to do ontop of Ryan and Amy's. Once I drank the chalice of blood and wine I was connected to the pack, and my ties to Goddesses Tears would be broken. I didn't hesitate for a second. As I drank down the liquid, I felt the reassuring connection to the pack form, hearing their voices and well wishes in my mind. I heard Kaia tell me she loves me. But there was one voice I heard that I hadnt heard in so long that I thought I was dreaming.

'Hello Sioux, I can't tell you how much I've missed you. Welcome to the pack.' the voice whispered in my head. My eyes shot up, looking for the owner of the voice, when I spotted him. Stood by the pool. Someone I thought was a ghost.

'Ryan?' I asked, just as the world around me went dark and I collapsed on the floor.
