Fallen for a...
Beast I am not sure at what was I enraged more... at his crazy idea that I would just give him the pack... or that his words had truth to it and that a part of me wanted to just agree with him, to let this all go. A part of my mind entertained the idea of just giving up the title to just be, exist outside the boarders of the pack duties and responsibilities. The idea of leaving all the pressure... all the performance behind... It was the one thing that I always wanted, but never let myself admit that I wanted it. To hear these words spoken out loud... it felt validating and like a slap across the face as the sole idea of giving up the pack for selfish reasons went against everything I was raised to believe... everything that the pack was formed on.
