Alpha Thomas's Point of View

"My son," my friend said as Xavier's screams filled the air. I began to run towards him and right before we reached him the man let him go and looked at us.

"She is more powerful than what I thought," he said out loud as he stared behind me, causing me to turn my head. His men were standing behind us and the hair on my neck stood up.

"Can you find her?" I heard Xavier say, causing me to look at the young alpha. He was beginning to stand up with the help of his father.

The man looked at Xavier and said, "The good news is I can track them. They left a good energy source but the bad news is what they could be doing to her. The acai love power and our sweet Zoey is full of power."

"Who the hell are you?" I asked, causing the man to turn towards me. His eyes were glowing red.

"Oh, did I forget to mention who I am?" The man said as he gave a creepy smile, causing my wolf to stand to attention. He was already on high alert but this man made him feel very uncomfortable.

I nodded as I stared at him.

"Marko," he shouted.

I was about to say something when a man stepped beside me and said, "Yes my Lord."

"There is a young child here. Zoey was helping her. Find her and asses her."

"Half bred?" Marko said.

"Yes. The mother believes the child is a pure wolf. Zoey was keeping her at bay and feeding her. Take care of this and find out what is going on with her."

The man bowed and stepped back.

"You are on my land and before I have you thrown out of here I suggest you tell me who you are and why you are here," I said as I allowed my alpha voice to break through.

The man and his men began to laugh.

"Alpha please. He can get Zoey back."

"I want my niece home and safe, but I will not allow an unknown man onto my land."

The man looked at me with narrow eyes and the red grew brighter, causing my wolf to growl.

"You dare challenge me wolf?"

Before I could say anything, a woman appeared and touched his arm. "My love enough of this. We need to find Zoey."

He looked at her and the red began to dull in his eyes and his facial features softened. He looked at her as if the sun rose and set with her.

"He started this by not protecting her. The acai took her."

"And by having a pissing match with him will only delay getting her back."

A growl behind him filled the air, causing everyone to look at Xavier.

"I need to get her back," Xavier said with longing and desperation in his voice.

"And we will." The man said. "But first let me introduce myself. I am King Khaled of the vampires and Zoey's father."

"That is not possible," my mate said as she came up beside me, causing my wolf to whimper. I didn't even know she was there. I was too occupied by this man.

"Hello again Cindy."

"You can not be her father. Her father is dead." My mate said with venom in her voice.

"Medificially speaking, but we are getting off topic now." He looked at the women next to him. "You must stay here and help Marko with the child. I will leave two men here and the rest will go with me. We shall not be to long."

"I am going with you," Xavier said.

"No," his father said.

"Actually, none of you will be going with us."

Xaveri approached Khaled with his eyes turning yellow. His wolf was taking over. "She is my mate and I need her."

"I understand young pup but your link to her will help us find her and get her back here. The acai like to use magic to distract their prey. However, the link between you two will help guide us back here."

"My love, you need to focus. The chit chat can wait."

"You are right. Men be ready."

A course of yes sirs could be heard as he turned around and grabbed Xavier. Before anyone could react Xavier screamed and Khaled and his men disappeared.
