Medi paused as I got out of the car.
"What?" I heard her ask as I handed my keys to the valet.
I walked around and opened her door for her. Her hand was still paused, holding her earring as she stared at the restaurant entrance.
"Better finish up before they move the car," I smirked, holding out my hand for hers. Medi quickly finished putting her earring in and stepped out of the car, her hand seeming to automatically reach for my outstretched one as she continued looking at the restaurant.
"I would have thrown on more makeup if I'd known," she worried, clinging to my arms we walked though she seemed entirely unaware of it. "I would have worn different shoes. Don't we need to be back for dinner? Or curfew? This is way too much!"
