Chapter two

In the evening, Kira's phone beeped. It was a notification from her friends. They were outside. "Thank God,they are here finally." She got down from the couch, stepped into her pink Crocs and headed to the gate. She picked up the remote control to the gate.

She pressed the remote button and the gate slid open for them to walk in. The gate opened displaying them. Flossy wore a blue silk gown that clung tightly to her body. Cabelo wore a flowing yellow gown. Even under the flowing gown her curves protruded, displaying her widely curved hip.

Among the group of friends, only Cabelo was really curvy and chubby. Flossy had the body of a model, while Kira was well balanced and she had the face of an angel. The three friends had a mixture of beautiful features shared among them.

As they walked into the building, they hugged themselves slightly. "I miss Kira," " me too," they all said to themselves. While they walked in.

Kira led the way while they followed behind." Look how fresh and beautiful she has been" Flossy said, teasing her, and Cabelo gave her a side-eye look.

Flossy is always the one to start teasing her, but her mind is not happy. " Oh stop it, you, too, are" Kira said, blushing. " All this talk but, in your mind, you don't like it. You pretender", Cabelo said to herself.

They finally settled down in the house, when Flossy asked her how her trip went." It was an interesting one, the place is so nice and the people too." She told them and she started narrating her experience there.

"Here, she goes again" Flossy said in her head. " She hates to hear it but she is still asking, pretender. I am considering telling Kira but I don't think I should anymore. I don't want to break our friendship. Besides, I don't think Flossy means any harm. She is only being jealous." Cabelo said in her head while the conversation was still going on.

Unexpectedly, while the girls were still enjoying themselves having a good time at night, Kira's boyfriend, Lucas, comes in to visit Kira without proper notice to Kira.

A car was outside horning. At the same time, Kira's phone rang but she was not with it at the time it rang. The car continued to horn." Kira, were you expecting anybody?" Cabelo asked her. " No, I am not expecting anybody. Besides this is night already." " I asked because someone was hanging outside the gate."

" Who could that be?" Kira asked herself. She noticed her phone ringing again. She placed it in silent mode so she didn't hear when it rang the first time. She picked it up, she saw three missed calls from her boyfriend and a text message just popped up.

"Hey babe,I am outside. I didn't come with my remote ,I wouldn't have bothered you. I hope you are at home". She read the message and suddenly felt sad because she wanted a night alone with her girls.

"Why didn't he just go to his house? Must it have been this night?" She asked herself and turned to Cabelo and said" My boyfriend is here, I must say..I didn't know he was going to come over and he never told me he was back from his business trip. Well, what a pleasant surprise."

"There's no problem " Cabelo told her. Immediately, Flossy came in from the palour where she was watching her series.

"I fell asleep and a noise from a car outside the gate just woke me up. I think it's outside our gate. Are you expecting anyone?" Flossy asked Kira.

"Well, it's my boyfriend". She told her, " I thought this was supposed to be a sleepover over?" She let it out. She said that in her head, but it still found a way to come out.

"It still is!!" Kira yelled as she walked downstairs to open the gate.

She opened the gate while he drove in. He came out of the car, and she hugged him while they walked in." Babe, you didn't tell me you were going to be coming over?" She told him.

" I wanted to surprise you though.Is there anything wrong with it?" He asked her while he opened the door for her to walk in. To his surprise, he met Flossy in the palour and Cabelo just stepped in.

"Hey," they both greeted him." Oh, hi beautiful ladies." He said to them in a friendly manner. This was the second time he had got to meet Kira's friend.

"We were going to be having a sleepover " Kira whispered, to his ear. " Oh sorry for barging", he told her." Enjoy yourselves, I'd be going to my room to rest." He told Kira.

"I'm coming with you", Kira told him, walking behind him to his room.

Flossy was already boiling in her spirit." "See why I shouldn't have come here in the first place. If it wasn't my boyfriend is here,it would be I went here. Give me some breathing space, Kira". She said to herself and turned to see Cabelo staring at her from where she sat.

The look on Flossy's face was clearly visible that she was jealous already." What's up, why are you keeping your face that way?" She asked, knowing fully well that Flossy was green-eyed.

"It's nothing " Flossy replied. " Are you sure? Or something..you know?"

"Cabelo is getting annoying", Flossy thought.

"I said it's nothing, I just feel sleepy" she lied and rubbed her eyes in pretense.

"Okay…" Cabelo replied.

Flossy stood up from the couch and went to the bedroom without saying a word to Cabelo. She seemed triggered. Cabelo sat there and thought " This isn't the Flossy I know. Maybe I never really knew her inner thoughts because she was really cool and all that. Is it because of her failed relationships? Does it contribute to this behavior? I know the last one really broke her. Maybe I should talk to her and maybe I shouldn't.

Kira went down to where Camelo was contemplating." Hey girl..I am back. Where is Flossy?"
