17. Healing Process.

I spend the next five weeks in my regular bed at our pack-house clinic, watching Netflix while I'm slowly healing from my post kidney transplant surgery. Sandra has told me everything about the new rules and healthy routine which I'm supposed to be following to maintain my health. There are anti-rejection medication I have to take everyday for the rest of my new kidney's life span, but I'm more than happy to do anything if it means I can finally dream of living a normal life without the dialysis machine. According to my Doctor, I can live a healthy life for another thirteen or more years to come.
