A few days had passed since the heavy conversation at the diner, and I was trying my best to settle back into a normal routine. Elodie and I were sitting in the lecture hall, waiting for the morning session to begin, when I noticed a girl moving through the rows, handing out bright neon flyers to everyone in sight.
"I can smell a party from a mile away, and those flyers are definitely the source," Elodie mumbled to me, nudging my arm. I looked up from my phone, watching the girl get closer and closer.
"I’m literally praying she skips our row," I whispered back, slouching a bit lower in my seat.
"Fat chance," Elodie smirked, her eyes already lighting up with that familiar party-hungry glow. "It’s coming for you, Gwen."
