Once, the meeting rooms at Tangerine had been named after inventors; in the beginning the entire hundred-person staff had worked out of the bottom floor of a warehouse, the meeting rooms along the walls, Pierre’s office across from Woods and between Curie and Franklin. As the company ballooned they’d moved multiple times, eventually settling for good at Tangerine’s ninety-acre Herzog & de Meuron-designed campus in Mountain View.
