  Morning light spilled through the glass walls, soft and pale, turning the room quiet and unreal. Sienna lay still beneath the sheets, listening to Noah move around. The sound of hangers. The zip of a bag. His low humming, calm and steady.   She kept her eyes closed.   She did not want to face the day. Not after the night she had barely survived.
