  The sunlight hit her like a slap. Bright, warm, alive. Everything Sienna wasn't.   She sat on the edge of the bed, staring at Noah's back as he stretched and yawned beside her. He looked peaceful, trusting, completely unaware. Completely innocent.   Her stomach churned. Every thought of last night's war, the counter, the feel of Landon's hands, the bite of desire and fear, made her want to tear something apart.   Noah leaned over and kissed her shoulder. Soft. Sweet. Normal. Like she was supposed to melt, like she was supposed to be happy.   She forced a smile. Her fingers brushing over his arm. The lie came too easy now. She felt hollow but alive in the wrong places.   Something had shifted. The tears were gone. The heartbreak paused. In their place burned something sharper. Harder
