  The Callahan mansion felt different tonight.   Colder somehow. Even with all the lights on. Even with the heat running.   Landon stood outside the front door for a moment. Hands in his pockets. Jaw tight.   He was early. A few minutes. Not that it mattered.   This wasn't about being on time. This was about control. Power. Punishment.   He rang the bell. Waited.   The butler opened the door. Took his jacket without meeting his eyes.   Everyone knew. The whole staff. They'd seen the headlines. Read the comments. Watched the family fall apart.   "They're in the dining room, sir."
