  The city lights glittered below like fallen stars.   Isabella stood by the floor to ceiling window of her apartment. Still wearing the red gown from last night. Wrinkled now. Stained with champagne from when someone had bumped into her.   She didn't remember coming home. Didn't remember taking off her shoes. Didn't remember anything after watching Landon carry Sienna out of that ballroom.   A glass of wine sat untouched on the table. She'd poured it hours ago. Or maybe minutes. Time felt strange.   She moved to the window. Pressed her palm against the cold glass.   Her reflection stared back. A stranger. Humiliated. Discarded. Replaced.   The words kept playing in her head. Over and over. Like a song she couldn't stop.   "Blame me. I'm the one who seduced her."   Landon's voice.
