  Morning light cut through tall windows. Warm. Golden. Too bright for how Sienna felt.   The dining room smelled like coffee and toast. Normal. Calm. Fake.   She sat at the table with her parents. Fork in hand. Food untouched.   Her mind was somewhere else. Last night. The rain. Landon's lips on hers. His voice breaking. "You should hate me."   But she didn't. She couldn't.
