Adrian took Vivian to see the aurora. The natural wonder stretched across the sky, magnificent and breathtaking. Yet to him, it felt strangely dull.
Vivian's excited screams rang beside his ear, but instead of sharing her excitement, he only felt irritated.
He called his bodyguard.
"Why haven't I heard anything yet? Has Renee been brought home?" But there was no response from the other end.
