She left, just like that, she left me standing there all alone while she took her cousin.
I understand, I get that she doesn’t want anyone to know about her presence here.
But I still find it hard to believe, the more I think about the more unbelievable it becomes.
Think about, the whole human existence is that we crave attention and rewards.
When we do good, we do so with selfish intentions.
I once heard people argue that there is no such thing as a selfless good deed.
That we do good and give to charity because we want to feel like good people.
Managers brag about the successes of their clients, and parents brag about their children’s achievements.
That is just how we are wired, to want praise even though it's through other people’s hard work and achievement
