I sat down next to Freya during lunch, but no one seemed to pay attention to that.
Instead, all of them were looking at the gamma’s daughter.
“You invited David to my house?” Niall asked her, and she nodded.
“Why would you do such a thing? He is the grandson of that man who goes around spreading lies,” the beta’s son said as he looked at Freya.
He wanted to say something else, but changed his words in the middle.
“Yes, his grandfather is crazy, but that has nothing to do with David,” Freya defended him.
This whole David agreeing to join them has her confused, and she doesn’t like being confused.
The smart thing for her to do is make sure that David’s invitation is somehow revoked.
