I was trying to keep my black eye hidden from her. I don't know why, but I didn’t want her to see it. I called her in to give her the papers, trying to follow Sterling's advice I was going to her more work, like she had asked. She seemed happy about it. I turned as she started to leave and watched her. She turned back around. I stood up quickly, giving her my left side again as I walked over and grabbed my suit jacket. "I am going to head out.
