“Patch, what do you think about the principle of magical easement?" Graydon Chalice asked.
Anneliese rolled her eyes and passed a basket of golden-brown rolls around the dinner table. “Here we go."
Across the rectangular table next to Edna Chalice, Dirge gave him a look that said he didn't envy Patch and then proceeded to eat his soup with gusto.
