Estelle's POV
I felt hands on my head and I sleepily opened my eyes and it was Aurelian. Immediately I saw him and my eyes opened .
"You are back," I said, trying to sit up. He sighed, nodding his head.
"Where is Ajax?" he asked.
"He is sleeping," I said, looking outside. It is late at night.
"What happened? You've been gone for three days," I said.
"The attack was to distract us, they took alpha Conrad," he said. I gasped, seating up.
"They took him?" I asked, shocked.
"Yes, gone. No scents, no trace, nothing was left to pick on and track him," he said. My eyes watered, not alpha.
"Just this evening, his body came. He looked like the bodies from the pictures," he whispered and tears fell down my eyes.
"He is dead," I said. He nods his head sadly. He wasn't
