Estelle's POV
I flutter my eyes open, blinking repeatedly. I looked up at the white wall, and I wondered where I was. What happened? I can't remember anything. I looked around me, and the beeping sound was the only one I could hear. Nobody was here, just me, and from the smell and white walls, I was in the hospital. The door opened, and Maven walked in.
"You are awake," she said, walking to me. I noticed her face; it was swollen.
"Why are you crying?" I asked, my voice hoarse. She ignored me, helping me up.
