"hey, its my brothers birthday, you might wanna join the party?" aki texted meg

with lots of heart emoji.

she finds it charming and can't resist his invites.

"Now? i havent took a bath yet"

"you just take your bath here, im on my way there at your house. my ex

girlfriends clothes fit you so you dont need to worry"

"it'll just be quick shower... "

"im almost there. we can take a bath together if you want" teases meg

"and then what? haha youre crazy"

"well we used to do that"

"uhmm yeah i know, but you said its your brothers party so you might have a lot

of guest i dont wanna show up like this"

"nah its ok its just you , my siblings and some friends. "

"ok, ok just give me few minutes."

"ok ill wait outside your house"

meg was feeling excited like nothing happened the night before.

gets a quick shower and puts on her make up.

"im here"

meg grabs her bag , goes out and shuts the door.

"what took you so long? i told you, you dont have to take a bath."

it wasnt a big deal but akis temper went up.

"i need to buy some drinks and ice at the store so we need to hurry. they have

been waiting for us. anyway, can you give me at least 200 to buy"

"sorry babe. i didnt know... i thought you are just going to fetch me. " thought

she was special but turns out she was just needed to add money for the drinks.

he never asked her to contribute before but seems to be different each day.

she was silent as he drives to the store.

"wait for me here." parks the car and grabs his phone.

she waited and looks after him until he gets inside the convenient store.

he was constantly checking on his phone. like he was expecting for a text

message.

or he might have been checking for his brothers text.

he gets back with 3 bottles of beer and some bag of chips and two packs of

cigarrette.

"is that enough?" meg asked" how many guest do you have?

"just two."

"i see.. but i think its not enough..."

"we will just buy later again"

"ok ill come with you later"

"no its okay.you can stay there."

she used to go with him wether they are just going to buy or go to a friends

house. but it has changed.

"oh finally, we have been waiting for you! we're thirsty!" as his brother gets the

bottles of beer.

"happy birthday!" meg greets akis brother.

"come here meg, john is here, you met him already right?"

"yeah, hi john, how are you. long time no see."

"i was just here yesterday, with my friends and they will be here soon.

"ahh so its gonna be a full house. but where are your sisters?"meg asked akis

brother

"they just left.. just few minutes. they were in a hurry tho, they cant wait for you.

but they should be back in the morning."

aki interrupts "yeah so you should leave before morning too meg."

"i thought you are staying till drinks are out" said john

"uhmm lets see." meg replied.

she enters the house and there was a girl wearing black spaghetti strap top and

super shorty shorts sitting in the couch with her one foot up feeling at home.

"meg, meet remy. my friend" said the brother

"friend? just your friend?" remy said "im his girlfriend. hi meg" waved her hand

and continued playing her phone.

the girl seemed to be half of his brothers age. she was around 15 years old and

his brother was turning 30 that day . a year older than meg.

she was not very welcoming like john and she was not as pleasant as everybody

else.

aki started to mix the drinks and shows off his talent again, pours the alcohol in

the pitcher and mixed it with pineapple juice and lime juice mixed on his

shaker. took the lighter and lits the bottle of alcohol and shoots it down to the

pitcher with flame.

sits down beside meg but he was not as sweet as he was before whenever they

drink and party. its a little different.

few minutes he tells her to stay and wait for him. he has to go buy another set of

drinks.

john tooks over the pitcher and hands meg the shot glass. telling her its her

turn.

she is still waiting for aki to return.

she's becoming bored.

"are you okay? youre too quiet. you were not like that when we first met."

"do you know where he went? its already been an hour since he left.."

"i thought he is going to buy some more drinks, and yeah its almost out" looks

inside the pitcher.

"no more foods left too." reny said

"he will be here soon." brother said.

"meg what is your number?" said john

"what number?" meg knows it was her phone number but kinda hesitant to

give it to john

john is a good looking guy with nice physique. like he works out everyday.

wearing a sando shirt showing his biceps can make any girl melt. but he was

wearing long sleeves when they first met so she just noticed it whenever he

pours her a drink. he is irresistable too but her heart belongs to aki.

"he said your number like 1 2 3" said reny and then laughed.

"i thought you and aki are together..but i think nooot!" trying to annoy meg

"give it to him, duh.. he is not gonna text you anyway." reny being mean again

she is a bully, but in a nice way.meg thought

she just laughed and just gave her number to john to stop reny from bullying.

its just a number anyway. and she thought that hey are friends too. and she is

not cheating in that way. she still loves aki.

tho she feels like everything has changed.

john was holding the pitcher and was about to give reny a shot but meg bumped into him when she came back from the bathroom

his sando shirt got all wet, and he has no choice but to remove it for a while.

meg cant help but stare on his nice abs. but she tried to distract herself.

"sorry i didnt mean that, im fine im not drunk ahaha" blushes

"do you know where aki is right now? " reny said "she is with his girlfriend!

ahahha" she continues as if it was a joke without any meaning testing megs

"does he have a girlfriend?" meg asked akis brother

"keep quiet reny, reny is already drunk i guess" brother said

"i think it was the one that you guys invited at my cousins birthday, right?" said

john

meg got confused for they were seeing each other for almost a year now. but she remembered the girl at the bar.

"i though he was single..."

"not that you are aware of... we even see each other before i dated his brother."

said reny

"youre kidding right?" meg said

"aki doesnt like you so shut up." said his brother

and they laughed.

"girlll dont be so serious. i wasss kidding. ok?"

but she was being really mean.

aki arrived after an hour.

but he was not alone.

someone was inside the car but did not go down to show up.

"be back , i need to hurry" it was a voice of a girl.

meg heard it and stood up to check who it was.

but aki prevented her to go to the car

hands her the bag of chips and 2 bottles of beer.

"here take it. " "ill be back again.

he runs towards the car and gets in.

he was with a girl.

few minutes later aki comes back.

"we are almost done, what have you been up to, why did you left me."

"it was emergency, i need to go at my sisters house" his excuse.

"okay... reny told me something about you"

"whattt.. dont believe that girl. shes making up stories."

"you havent heard what it is all about and youre telling me she just made it up."

"no babe, i have just known her like that. " he said defending himself

as they all lift their glasses for the birthday boy.

he is a bit cold and getting colder and colder each day.

was that his girlfriend in the car, is reny his ex, or just really nothing.
