I quite like kittens, And sheepskin mittens But snakeskin gives me a fright. The mere thought of a snake, Can keep me awake Through many a sleepless night. Oh how I hate That bright banded krait The rattlesnake, boa and asp, I come out in cold sweat, That one day I might get Caught up in a python’s tight grasp. The sight of a cobra or even a viper, Will make me quite hyper When I think of that venomous bite. And I’ll dance a fast samba, At the thought of a mamba Sliding into my bedroom to fight. And I will never ever, From now ‘til forever, Get to feel any fonder For the huge anaconda Diamondback rattler, slim fer-de-lance Sidewinder, Sea snake, Coral snake, krait; Boomslang, brown snake and viper gaboon, Bushmaster, asp and cottonmouth moccasin Tiger snake, mamba
