My dearest darling girl,As you can see from the above, I am now a prisoner of the Hun.
As you can see from the above, I am now a prisoner of the Hun.We went over the top, I can’t tell you where, but me and Nobby Tune and Jim Collins and couple of the other lads got stranded behind the lines. I’m sorry to say that they didn’t make it, but I was captured after being wounded in the knee but nothing really to worry about. We are cheerful enough here although it is awful cold, the huts we live in are made from thin planks, not too much to keep out the chilly winds,
