I sighed contently and rested my head on Derek’s shoulder he brushed a hand across my hair and kissed the top of my head lightly. We were inside my former university campus sitting on a lush green lawn under a tree lazily watching the sun rise over a large decorative pond, the water sparkling placidly as it gently rippled. In a place like this you could all but completely ignore all the buildings around you and forget where you are there is such an overwhelming sense of peace here. The morning was so early we didn’t have to worry about being disturbed we had passed the stumbling home time and wake up time even for early risers was still a long way off, which was a relief as Derek was only wearing a pair of jeans (Daniels I’d ‘borrowed’ them as we scampered out of the factory).
