I sighed and continued to twist my sparkling diamond ring absentmindedly. Derek smiled at me and plunged his hands into my hair; I pushed my cheek into his hand with a soft purr.
“What time is it?” Carl growled
“About two minutes after you last asked,” Bryce said flatly
“Which makes it twelve minutes past eleven.” Daniel clarified. I smiled again at Derek he reached out and wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me up onto his lap. I smiled and cuddled down into his chest with a contented sort of sigh. The boys were all on edge waiting for Bethany to call with her instructions. In contrast Derek and me seemed perfectly content as we were just together now so I was hoping that Bethany would actually never call.
