Can a human become a great Luna?

The Squard

Kim looks at her team as they get ready for another assignment. She smiles while packing her gear. Everyone is chatting about the time off they had and somehow they all know the task ahead of them. A soldier comes in: "Captain you´re being asked to join the officer in the conference room" he nods to the others. They looks at Kim whos face turned into a serious one within seconds. Kim turns to sergeant Jackson and Lt Mannic: "Care to join me as well? The rest will pack the gear and get the plane ready!" 

They leave the room and go to the conference room. As Kim knocks the door opens and their higher ranking officers gets up from their seat to shake their hands. The door closes behind them. They are asked to sit down while the task at hand is being brifed to them. 15 minutes later they leave and find the rest of the team waiting at the end at the huge plane taking them to their destination. The team look up at Jackson, Mannic and Kim as they approach the plane. They aren´t looking happy.  "What´s up?" asks Mark Lolland the joker of the team. 

"Here is what we know so far: 3 teams went in and none have returned. We know from their radio contact that they spotted enemy present and were to engage. The fight wasn´t that feirce looking at the satelite imagines but somehow everyone is missing. Both the enemies and our own people. Our job is to get to the sight figure out what the heck happen and get the intell to the headquaters. Hopefully these guys can get back home with their families in one piece!" Jacksons snarls. "Ley´s get going!" Kim says. Everyone gets up on their feet and walks into the plane. The doors closes and they get ready for take off. A 9 hour flight. The hammocks are in place for the team to get some well needed rest. Kim jumps up in hers and lay down. Closing her eyes she sees Tischas face that night. She frowns and focus on the kids and the their faces as they showed her the flower arrangements instead. She falls asleep.

Mannic, Hunnican and Jackson notice her facial expression when falling asleep. They look to one another. The word of her being able to safe two teenagers had reach them too. The fact that she had killed 5 men while protecting them, shows how passionate she is but also show of strength that can scare anyone. But not these guys. They not only knows her, they all owe their lives to her. 

Matt and Jake are in Matts office when Rob knocks on the door. He enters and looks like a beam of sunshine: "You guys gotta hear this. I have reached out to a friend of mine who works at the ministry of all magical creatures, right!" Matt and Jake looks at one another then shrugs. "Well they don´t understand why our pack is the only one who haven´t a single member in the.. here´s the kicker...Protection Squad!" Both Matt and Jake looks pussled at one another. "I thought it was an urban myth!" Jake looks at Matt "I have only heard of them when my grandpa told his crazy stories growing up!" Matt says.

The Protection Squad is formed to keep every magical creature save from eradication or war between the species. Wars have always been exspensive and sadly the human species have taken its toll on a lot of the magical creatures in the world. Fearing what they didn´t understand the humans will kill every species if they have the change but yet the creatures lived around the humans without much interference. The Protection Squad is made out of males and females from each species and the top 10 fighters for each will be the main Squad while only 7 would be the leaders, who have to put it into voting if they are to interfere or not in a conflict. The Squad have been around for centuries. So how come none of them have heard about them, more than just stories anyway? No one have seen the squad in action apparently for a long time.

"It´s time to chat with our own councillor!" Matt gets up and went around his desk when opening the door his father is standing outside about to knock. They look at one another a bit surprised and then his dad smiles. "Our councillor is waiting downstaires. You want me to bring him up?" Matt nods still in shock and a bit surprised that his dad knew that they have just agreed to contact the counsil and now he is here? Something isn´t right. Matt looks at the others and they seem to be on the same page as him. There is something very wrong here.

The  councillor is a tiny man with thick glaces as he walks in he shakes everyone hands. "Well it is nice to met you Alpha Matt, your father speaks highly of you. I understand you have some questions for me?!" The man looks around at the faces of the young men sitting near him. The young Alpha is huge by any standards but his face shows courage, care and empathy. The counsil man thinks to himself "He is going to be an awesome leader of this strong pack!" Matt looks at his dad then back to the counsil man. He signs and asks: "Why haven´t we been apart of the Protection Squard for so long and why haven´t we heard of it until now?" His gestures his hand in Jake and Robs direction. The counsil man looks up at Eric who is standing behind Matts right side. Eric nods and Matt notices it. Like the  councillor needs his dads approval somehow. "Well it´s because of who your mate is, Alpha!" Matt looks in shock at the  councillor. Jakes and Robs jaw hits the floor. All stire at the man all in shock. Even Eric is in shock.
