The first encounter

Kim is about to leave the cottage when she notice two people look like they are guards or something. They approach her slowly not sure if they were nervous or just taking their time. "Hello, we just wanted to say welcome to this part of the town. And if you need anything please don´t histate to aks. Our CEO is very keen on keeping the good relationship we had with mr. Petric, with you as well!" One of the guards says. Sounds like he have been practicing saying it all the way to her cottage, cuz it is like he is reading it from a card or something. She smiles at them. "Well hello. My name is Kimberley Watson, everyone calls me Kim. I am actually leaving for a few days so if you guys would be kind to keep an eye out for my home, I would appreciate it very much!" She reaches her hand out to greet them both and they have a firm handshake. She notice the way they smell. It´s somehow familiar to her. They chit chat for a bit and the guards leave and heads back through the forrest. Kim watches them disappear in the forrest. "CEO?? Hhhmmm" she thinks to herself.

She signs. Something is very off somehow. Oh well she will look into that when she gets back home but for now she needs to catch a plane. She gets into her car and drives off. She doesn´t notice that a few cars behind her another car is following her. She gets to the small airport and gets on the plane. A couple of people are already seated. A couple comes through the door nearly falling over the last step because the guy is so huge that he just barely fits through the door. The stewardess quickly helps the lady back on her feet and they all laugh embarrasing about it but the guy just shrugs as they get to their seat far back on the plane. Kim doesn´t notice the next few poeple getting on board, she is already reading up on the research she has brought with her. If she did she would have noticed that the same two guards that she met back at the cottage is there as well. Keeping an eye on her. They nod to the couple that came in before they. They nod back. All eyes on Kim.

The flight is only a two hours flight. At the airport Marlon, Kims oldest brother, picks her up. He smells something in the air: Werewolf, nearby. He looks around and spots them right away. A couple and two salesmen. He sees them looking at Kim, he looks at her and just smiles. She doesn´t know anything about him being a werewolf himself or about any other magical beings but she seems to attrack them somehow. He doesn´t know why but her best friends are all magical creators. They met while serving and she has saved a lot of magical creators but she never figure out what they are. Luckily. Any human being would freak by the idea of magical beings. If only they knew. A lot of businesses are run by magical beings and a lot of serving men and women are as well. He had served with a lot himself. Their family just never wanted to put such a huge burden on her shoulders after losing her parents and going through the system the way she did.? It breaks his heart whenever he thinks of all the things she had to go through before she came to live with them. He knew she was special when she after only one week had slept next to him because he had a bad dream. She had held his hand througout the night, keeping his nightmare at bay. She always knew somehow when the nightmare was coming, cuz she was always right there holding his hand with the first sign. Now it is his mate and dear wife Erica that helps him at night. When he dreams of losing his family, friends, his kids and even her. His biggest fear: losing his wife and their kids. He shakes his head as to adjust his thoughts.

"Are you okay?" Kim asks as she notice her brother shakes his head. "Yeah sorry my mind just went for a walk!" she laughs "Then we better catch up with it!" They both laughs. They talk all the way to the house where he lives with his wife and 2 kids. They can see that the kids are still up. "They are really excited to see you!" he says when Kim just point to the window where two kids are sitting waving at them. The door opens and out comes the kids flying out and Kim just sets her bag down just in time to catch the kids midair. She swing them around in a huge hug. The kids laugh and hug her back. She looks up to see her brother kiss Erica passionately and she hugs the kids again while setting them gently down on the ground. Jack, 8, takes her trolley while Jill, 4, takes her handbag. She is left with the computerbag. They all walks up to the house where Erica gives her a huge hug. "You must be hungry, we have made pasta with cheese and meatballs. Jills favourite dish!" Erica says. "Sounds delicious!" Kims smiles to Jill who´s is beaming of pour joy. After an hour Kim goes into the guest room. She is really tired and falls asleep with all her clothes on.

Across the street a pair of eyes watched her as she felt asleep. A blue light showed the face of the same woman who boarded the plane earlier. She sent a text: "Lady is at her familys house. Just felt asleep!" "Follow up on the family tomorrow!" The answer came back straight away. "First thing in the morning"
