Thirteen-2

2004 Words

With Noah distracted, Dutch may be able to catch him off guard. As far as plans go, this is a clusterfuck waiting to happen, but what other choice do I have? Noah has a gun. I have a flashlight. The odds are not in my favor. “Fine, you win,” I say, slowly revealing what I have in my hands as I drop the flashlight at my feet. Noah smirks. “Cheeky little sweetheart. What else are you hiding?” Dutch is biding his time because we both know Kyle won’t be able to fight Noah. So this is all on me. “Let him go, and I’ll show you,” I reply, ensuring my confidence shines. Noah won’t fall for a doe-eyed act, so the only angle I can play is me doing this because I have no other choice, which is what he wants. “Come here, and I’ll let him go.” This won’t end well; I just hope it won’t end well
