Hunter's Mark: The Dream Walker

Chapter Ten

Adalyn

Two weeks have flown by since I found out that I could dream walk and about being destined mates with Rainn. We let Malik out of the cell, and he explained who was after the guys. They have made a lot of enemies being hunters for so long, but now they have found themselves in the crosshairs of a demon lord by the name of Beherit. According to Malik, Beherit is a storm demon who Rainn and Liam had a kill order for his second in command and brother Apollyon.

He said that after they killed him Beherit went crazy and has been plotting his revenge ever since. They knew who he meant immediately, and we have been training hard every day since. Three days ago, we had a visit from Jamison, who is the weapons specialist for The Vindicta. Rainn thought it would be a good idea for me to choose my specialty weapon. He told me to choose wisely and that I would know when I held it.

I walked down the table that the guys had set up and picked up each weapon, from guns to throwing stars, but nothing stood out to me. I finally reached the end of the table and picked up two beautiful silver daggers. There were engraved words on the blades, but it was a language that I didn't recognize. They had an emerald inlay on the handle, and they felt amazing in my hands. I looked up at Rainn and smiled. "They are beautiful, my love, now we have to teach you how to use them."

Training was even more brutal after that. We worked on my ability to pull from Rainn, but if I did too much then it would weaken him. I knew what needed to happen in order to come into my own and not have to rely on Rainn so much, even though I had become very proficient with the daggers. Rainn wanted to make sure that I was strong in both my powers and without them.

I had also been training with Malik and my dream walking. I am now able to jump into anyone's dream if I have seen their face. I also can manipulate things inside of someone else's dream which not even Malik can do. I tried it out with Liam and made spiders crawl all over him. I don't think I've heard someone squeal quite like that ever. He came running downstairs and I couldn’t hold in my laughter. Rainn had to break us up when Liam started chasing me around the house.

Rainn and I have also been getting closer. I am finally ready to completely trust him and move forward. I know he cares for me even without the bond of being his mate. This morning, we got up and headed out into the back of the house, passed the beautiful gardens and into the training arena. I started my work out first and then I would have to spar with either Rainn, Liam, or Malik. I really hope that it's Malik today because he doesn't go easy on me ever. Rainn's afraid to hurt me, Liam doesn't want Rainn to kill him, so he does to, but Malik seems to understand more that I'm going to get hurt even worse if I'm not completely prepared for an actual fight.

The gods must have heard my silent prayer because Malik walked into the arena. If I wasn't already destined to Rainn, I would definitely be checking this man out. He looks like an actual Adonis. He's tall, muscled in all the right places with jet black hair and brilliant blue eyes. "I really don't want to go back to that cell so please don't look at me like that", Malik chuckled. "Sorry I was just happy that it was you today considering you're the only one that actually spars with me."

"It's ok I get it, but we are only doing hand to hand today, no powers and no weapons." We both get into our fighting stances and nod at each other. We circle each other a few times and then he rushes at me. I jump to the side at the last second and try to kick his leg out, but it's like kicking a tree. "Nice try little girl", he laughs.

My face flushes in anger. I know what he's trying to do but it doesn't keep it from making me angry. He comes at me again and swings at my face. I duck and dip to the left and he just barely misses me. I try to put distance between us, and he laughs even harder, "You going to fight me or run away, Rainn needs someone by his side that can actually take care of herself, not someone who will get everyone killed."

That was the final straw. I ran towards him, faked right, and swung my legs onto his neck and had him on the ground punching him in seconds. I heard clapping and turned around to see Liam and Rainn standing there. Liam was giggling but Rainn had a very serious look on his face. He walked over and kicked Malik in the stomach. I gasped "Why did you do that? We were just sparring?" "I heard what he said to you, and it was unnecessary and inappropriate."

I rolled my eyes at him and went to help Malik up. We walked over to get towels and water bottles and decided to end training early today. I walked back into the house with the guys trailing me and decided that I needed a shower. "I'm going up to get a shower and then we can discuss our next steps with Beherit." "I'm sure this little setback will not stop him from trying to kill you two and now that he knows about me, we need to do something."

Rainn followed me upstairs, which made me smile because I had finally decided that I was ready to be his completely and to mark him. I wanted everything with him and to be with him for the rest of our lives which, from what Rainn told me, could be a very long time. We got to his door, and he reached around me to push it open. I went into the bathroom, stripped down and got a very quick shower. I bypassed the clothes that were sitting on the counter and grabbed my robe. We had gotten all my belongings and moved them here the day after I arrived. I took a deep breath and walked out into the room. His eyes immediately shot up and darkened when he realized I had on the robe.

"Are you going to tease me again, my love?" I didn't answer him, just kept eye contact and walked closer. His eyes followed my hands when I reached down and undid the tie around my waist and let the robe fall off my shoulders. His eyes got huge when he saw me standing in front of him completely naked. I could see him breathing heavily as I walked towards him. He went to get up from the bed, but I wagged my finger at him and shook my head. He stayed put but I could see him swallow hard. I didn't know what I was doing but he had pleasured me a few times while getting nothing in return, so I did some research and hopefully, this will go well.

I knelt in front of him and took his shirt off, running my fingers down his chest. I could feel him shiver at each touch. I loved the effect that I had on him. I trailed down his stomach and ran my fingers along his pants. I reached for the button of his jeans, and he stopped my hands. "My love, you don't have to do this, I may not be able to control myself anymore." "You have given me all the time that I needed, I may not know exactly what I am doing but I want to do this."

He let go of my hands and I undid the button and slowly pulled his zipper down. His hard length sprang free from his jeans, and I was again astonished by how big this man was. I couldn't even imagine how he was going to fit inside of me. I gently wrapped my hand around him and gave him a squeeze. He hissed through his teeth and let out a moan that had me immediately dripping wet. Knowing that I had the ability to make him feel that good with just a touch was empowering.

I brought my mouth down to his tip and took an experimental lick. His whole body froze and then I wrapped my lips around him and took him into my mouth as far as I could. His whole body began to shake. "God baby that feels so good." He wrapped his hand in my hair and started to guide my mouth up and down his length. "Just like that my love." His moans were addicting, and I hummed in response, which vibrated down his c**k and made him push down even harder.

I thought for a second he was going to choke me, but he let me up just as quickly. I continued to pump my hand and work my mouth on him until he pulled himself completely out of my mouth. "My love, that felt absolutely amazing but this time I am going to c*m inside of you." He flipped me onto my back on the bed and ripped his jeans off. He trailed kisses down my neck and hovered over my mark. He traced it with his fingers, and it felt like electricity running through me. He made his way down to my hard n*****s and sucked one into his mouth. My back immediately arched into him, and I let out a loud moan. "Rainn please." "Please what baby, you know you have to use your words."

"Please make me c*m I'm so close." He kissed my stomach and flicked my core with his tongue. My body erupted into flames and every lick of his tongue made me feel like I was going to erupt. "Don't stop", I pleaded with him. He inserted a finger into my core and the flames licked higher. When I was comfortable with that, he added another, pumping them in and out of me. He finally added a third and I felt so stretched.

I finally fell over the edge and screamed his name. He pulled his fingers from me and licked them clean. "You taste so good my love, my favorite dessert." He moved back up my body and settled his hips in the cradle of mine. "This is going to hurt at first, but I will be as gentle as possible, I promise." I nodded at him unable to form words and I felt his tip penetrate my body. He went further until he stopped at my maidenhead. "Are you ready?", he asked. "Yes please." He pushed passed it and I immediately felt something rip and a pain sear through my body. Rainn swallowed the scream with a kiss and was as still as he could possibly be while my body adjusted to him. This was a whole new meaning to the word full. He finally broke the kiss, and I told him to move.

He was slow at first, still making sure that he wasn't hurting me, but I needed more. I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him towards me. He thrust in deep, and I moaned. "You like that baby." "Yes, please more." That was his cue and his strokes got faster and harder as he drove into me. I was climbing higher and higher towards that ledge and so was he. "God baby you are so tight, and you feel so good." He switched positions so I was sitting in his lap. I started to move my hips up and down his length. A purple light poured out of his hand. I lifted my hand, and the same light was there.

My mark was also glowing. As we were both about to climax, he put his hand over my mark, and I knew this was it. I put my hand on his chest in the same way he did mine and he threw his head back. The mark started appearing on his chest immediately. When he looked at me, I could see love in his eyes. Lightning and immense pleasure ran through my body. I heard him grunt but it sounded so far away. I opened my eyes to look at him and his eyes were glowing purple. He looked at me in confusion. "Baby your eyes." "Yea yours too." I felt so tired and could barely make out anything else that he was saying before the blackness took over.
