    I stand, shaking as I watch the blood bubble up Vikor’s throat and out of his mouth. A gurgling sound comes from his throat as he paws at the knife sickly sticking out of his neck. His eyes are bulging, panicked and pained. I cover my mouth trying not to scream or vomit.     I just killed him. I just killed someone.     The words echo over and over in my mind as I watch him stumble onto his knees, coughing and gurgling and sputtering, thick dark blood dripping onto the wooden floor. Slowly, I back away, unable to take my eyes off his dying body.     Murderer. Murderer. Murderer.     A shaky breath leaves me as I finally snap out of my trance. I look around wildly, then bolt off down the hallway.     Wooden shutters cover the windows. I stop running for a moment to look out of one
