After walking for about twelve more minutes and practically freezing while doing so, I found something, I really did! I found a random wide room with a few traps, and at the end of it is a door with a lever, I held my breath and tried to find a way in without dying. The traps were just floor tiles and if you step on the wrong one, it all collapses and you die, hah, its your average cliché that's used in every treasure hunting movie.
I held my breath and started examining the tiles, without touching them ofcourse. The thing that confused me the most was that they were clean, no dust, no nothing. Not to mention the fact they're made of pure gold...anyway, I still didn't know how to pass, there seemed to be no clues to guide me. I kept staring beyond the tiles, I even began contemplating finding a way to take the tiles and sell them. I thought of my possible rich future with all the money I'd make, but those dreams quickly ended when I remembered I still don't have a way to get out of the cave. I was honestly just about to walk over the tiles and ignore them until I saw what was written on the floor right before them.
《To you in the unknown time ahead, a single mistake would cost you your soul..the button will begin your trial, the way to find the truth.》
I stared at what was written on the floor and at the button right under the sentence.. Now, I'd usually not believe this kind of stuff and I'd just ignore it, but something about it being written in hieroglyphs made me scared..I was so not gonna risk it.
I sat down and pulled out my journal from my bag and wrote what I see, describing every detail without forgetting a single thing. Once I finished writing I just kept staring at the button contemplating whether to press it or not. The more I look at it, the more I want to press it, what are the odds it may give me infinite money as a reward? After about 10 minutes of being indecisive I decided to press it, there's nothing to lose in this situation anyway. I put my journal in my bag, zipped it, put it on and stood up then marched to the button. Once I got close enough, I pressed it slowly.
