Chapter-22
“You want to come inside?” I ask politely. I know we are going outside. But he is standing in my doorway. I should ask him, right? “No, I will come another time. We will be late for the dinner,” he replies. “Ok let me lock the door then,” I say. I lock my door and turn again to look at him. “For you.” he forwards the roses to me and I take them with a smile. “Thanks,” I say and take them. After that, we take the elevator downstairs and get into Rehan’s car. “Where are we going?” I ask while wearing the seat belt. “it’s a surprise,” he replies and starts to drive. I don’t know why I have a bad promotion that something is going to be wrong today. I hate surprises. I like to be in control of every situation. But I divert my mind by saying it’s just my thought and ignore it. Reha
