Chapter-08

When I return to the room Lily was already awake but still lazying in bed.

“Where were you? I thought you ran away.” She says jokingly.

I smile

“Where will I run?” I ask and went to take out clothes.

I know she didn’t bring clothes but we can share mines.

“God knows. I can’t believe you. You can do anything.” She says mockingly.

“OK, if you have said enough nonsense you can get up. We are here not to sleep only.” I say and keep some dress aside in which she can change into.

“What happened to you?” she looks at me suspiciously.

“What?” I ask confused.

“How can you be so in a good mood today?” She asks.

“Why? Do I remain in a bad mood every day?” I ask, smiling.

I don’t know why but I was feeling refreshed today.

“No, but what happened yesterday....” She start to say, but I cut her off.

“OK stop. I don’t want to talk about that. Can you just move your a*s and freshen up?” I pull her from bed and push her toward the bathroom.

“OK fine. How can I think you can change?” She says with a disappointed tone and enters the bathroom.

I know why she is angry.

But how can I just forget easily and be normal?

There is no switch in my heart that I can just turn off instantly.

the wound in my heart is still open and I don’t know, how can I heal them.

If some miracle happens and I can heal them, maybe I will live happily again.

After Lily gets freshened up, we go out swimming with the girls.

Sid said he has some work, so he left with Rehan

After swimming for some time, I lie on a bench and starts to relax

“Oh. Nyla. We meet again.” I hear a familiar voice and turn to see.

John and Chloe standing there clinging to each other.

“Hi,” I say and try to ignore them.

“I thought you will leave after you meet us,” Chloe says with a mocking tone.

“Why will she leave? The person who should leave is you.” Lily says, coming toward us with Jessica.

“Here comes the bodyguard,” Chloe says sarcastically.

“Oh, when there is b***h lurking around bodyguards should be alert right? After all, the princess should be protected,” Lily reply and I try not to laugh.

“Lily, mind your language,” John says angrily

“Oh, you also bring a bodyguard? But as I know vamps don’t need a bodyguard. Do you thinking yourself as a princess too?” Lily says and laughs and Jessica laughs with her.

“He is my husband you bitch.” She spats.

“Oh, I forget how you have lured him.” She says, and I saw Chloe’s face turns angry.

“Oh, I didn’t lure him. He loves me. Everyone is not like you. What do you think? I don’t know how you trap James in your spell.” She says.

I thought Lily will become angry.

But she didn’t yell at her.

“Oh, I trapped him? Does James know his cousin’s wife thinks such a thing about his girlfriend? What do you think John?” Lily asks John and he looks at her timidly.

I know John’s family is not very rich.

They often take support from James as now John has moved with Chloe.

So they can’t afford to offend James.

“You both friends are the same. Do you think just wearing sexy clothes and having big boobs can make you loved by someone? No. You can be a s**t, not someone’s wife.” She says.

I know the thing is getting out of control.

I don’t want to fight with them.

But how they are taking it was making me angry too.

“Now you can’t say your wife to shut up, right?” Lily says to John.

But before he says something Chloe says again, “What will he say I am telling the truth.”

“Chloe...” Lily tries to retort.

But I know I can’t let her fight alone.

If she thinks she can just suppress us because she can act like a shameless b***h, she is wrong.

“Enough of you both,” I yell angrily

“Nyla....” Lily says hurt. I know I shouldn’t have stopped her. But I can fight on my own.

She doesn’t need to put the dirt on her because of me.

“No, enough. Lily, you don’t need to defend me all the time. I can talk on my own,” I say to Lily and she understands.

She gives me a wink and I know she is with me.

“What a wonderful friendship,” Chloe says sarcastically.

“Oh, right now you will teach me how to be a good friend?” I say and she snickers.

“You can’t be anyone’s friend.” She says.

How dare she say this to me when she destroyed our friendship?

“And you can?” I ask.

“Yes, I can.” She says confidently.

“How. By deceiving your friend? By going to the bed of your friend’s boyfriend like a shameless s**t?” I say, and her face changes.

I know she would have never thought I will ever use this time of language.

But she has crossed her limit.

“I was never your boyfriend.” John protest.

“Oh right. My mistake. How can we be in a relationship? I can never be in a relationship with someone like you. And back to Chloe. You knew I loved him and we were friends, right? But you were a w***e and went to his bed.” I say and she becomes angry.

“How dare you tell me a w***e?” She tries to slap me, but I hold her hand and jerk it away.

“In our society what you did. If other people do it, people call them w***e. so I don’t know what I said wrong.” I wrap my arm around my chest and stand confidently.

“How dare you?” She says, clenching her fist.

“Oh, right how dare me. You can bitching around sleeping around like sluts and how dare me?” I retort.

“Nyla you are crossing your limit,” John says.

I never knew he is such a person.

How can he hide behind a woman and let the women fight?

“Oh, now you will set the limit. When you both stab in my back and deceive me, then you didn’t remember your limit?” I snap.

“I told you I never loved you,” he says

“Yes, I know. But I saw no one give love letters, flowers and gifts to any friend. But OK you never told me you love me, so I agree I was wrong. But why did you give me all that? I want to know the reason.” I ask him after all these times.

I want to close this chapter forever today.

“Because....” he hesitates.

“What you don’t have an answer? But I have. Because you thought if Chloe doesn’t agree, you can have me. But Chloe didn’t give you the time to wait. Because s**t like her just need a d**k. And you have one.” I snicker.

“I am s**t, then what you are? We are married. I don’t at least try to snatch another’s partner. Neither I sleep around like your friend.” She says and this time my anger reaches my limit.

How can she drag lily between our fight?

They can say anything to me. But if she tries to attack lily, I won’t spare you.

“Really. Then what about Sid?” I open her secret.

I would have never told it to someone if she didn’t touch my bottom line.

“Sid. What about Sid? Who is this Sid?” John asks.

“Don’t tell me you don’t know your wife was cheating on you, or you knew but acting in front of everyone for money?” I say, smiling and their face changes.

I can say from their face that they were hiding it from each other.

But if they can’t know their limit, I can also cross mine.
